Job Summary

The E-Commerce Manager develops e-commerce strategy to support the immediate and long-term goals for new customer acquisition across all brands and platforms.

Essential Functions

  • Promote and adhere to HDIS' Core Values: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Respect, and Commitment to Quality
  • Responsible for website performance and continuous improvements in all areas including:
    • User experience
    • Conversion rate
    • Site speed
    • Analytics & reporting
    • Site features & functionality
  • Assists with annual planning and budget process for E-Commerce including new web development needs and existing platform maintenance
  • Designs and implements testing to optimize conversion and continuity program enrollment rates across all websites
  • Manages new web development, web maintenance, web hosting and web application firewall for all e-commerce websites. Manages external web development agencies and coordinates with internal IT resources
  • Maintains PCI DSS, ADA and HIPAA compliance where applicable
  • Manages online product data, pricing accuracy and integrity of online check-out experience
  • Monitors performance of and resolves any issues within a timely manner and on budget
  • Monitors and maintains e-commerce environment, consumer, and competitor product/service research
  • Contributes ideas for growth and improvement across all conversion channels
  • Coordinates Marketing's efforts to generate a cohesive user experience that meets each business areas goals and objectives
  • Implements online solutions to enhance effectiveness of all business areas
  • Develops landing pages and online creative where applicable
  • Plans, executes, and monitors assigned marketing projects ensuring completion within defined deadlines and budget constraints
  • Project Management; Clearly articulating project scope and objectives, meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, organization and vendor capabilities, and tracking/monitoring procedures
  • Proactively seeks innovation and current best practices in e-commerce, data security, web hosting, and digital and direct marketing activities
  • Provides business area updates to Marketing and other key stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Collaborates with all marketing efforts to provide relevant onsite content across all brands

Required Qualifications (Education, Prior Experience, Specialized Skills and Knowledge)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in e-commerce management
  • Project management skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Demonstrated growth in responsibilities and flexibility
  • Strong understanding of the business area and e-commerce goals for each website
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external technical resources and business area leaders is a must
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a variable workload and function in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other G-Suite products
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical resources and marketing team
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Basic understanding of Magento, PHP, JS, HTML and CSS
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to be flexible

Desired Qualifications (Education, Prior Experience, Specialized Skills and Knowledge)

  • E-commerce management with Direct-to-Consumer brands
  • Experience in Direct-to-Consumer, continuity, membership and/or referral-based marketing models
  • Advanced understanding of information management and databases
  • Web development project management
  • Experience in Senior Market or Healthcare marketing
